(Baonghean.vn) - After 4 exciting days, tonight (December 22), at the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House, the 32nd National Television Festival closed and awarded prizes to the winning works and authors.
Attending the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thien Nhan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Tran Binh Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Vietnam Television, Chairman of the Festival; Nguyen The Ky - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of local radio and television stations and more than 1,000 delegates.

Speaking at the Closing and Awarding Ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan praised and highly appreciated the efforts of Vietnam Television and the host unit for successfully organizing this festival; especially welcoming the Festival for successfully organizing the seminar on President Ho Chi Minh's journalism style. The Deputy Prime Minister stated: Over 42 years of establishment and development, the Vietnam television industry has upheld the revolutionary spirit, been loyal to the country, the Party, and the people, overcome difficulties and hardships, fulfilled assigned tasks, and made great contributions to the cause of building and defending the country.
In recent years, television has demonstrated its role as the most powerful and influential journalism genre and has been constantly developing, becoming a sharp propaganda tool of the Party and the State, a reliable media for the people, etc. Besides the great achievements and contributions of the Vietnamese television industry, there is still a problem that most stations are still struggling with - that is, how to devote a suitable amount of time to popularizing and developing Vietnamese culture. The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Vietnam Television and local stations in 2013 organize a forum at their stations with the theme "Television and the development of Vietnamese culture" from which to have recommendations and solutions for the State to implement.

At the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the 32nd National Television Festival, the Organizing Committee of the Festival awarded certificates of merit to 134 works, 57 Silver Awards and 30 Gold Awards in 9 categories. The Closing Ceremony not only dedicated the stage to honor the best television works of 2012 in 9 competing categories, but also helped the audience to look at and evaluate the results of this year's Festival, see the most outstanding points, the most impressive programs in each category from the reports broadcast in the program.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 32nd National Television Festival, Mr. Tran Binh Minh - General Director of Vietnam Television, Chairman of the 32nd National Television Association affirmed: Although only 4 short days, the 32nd National Television Festival was truly a meaningful festival, where television workers across the country shared, strengthened solidarity and aimed at the greatest goal of bringing to the audience practical, useful and hot spiritual food of life. I believe that after this Festival, there will be many more good ideas and practical actions contributing to promoting the development of each television, radio and television unit in particular and the Vietnamese television industry in general.
