(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of October 9, in Vinh City, the closing ceremony of the final round of the Nghe Tinh Vi and Dam Folk Song Singing Contest for high school students in 2014 took place. At the closing ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 outstanding units at the contest, including: Nghe An College of Culture and Arts; districts: Nam Dan, Nghia Dan, Thanh Chuong, Quy Chau, Ky Son, Yen Thanh. In addition, the Provincial College of Culture and Arts awarded 3 best individual prizes at the contest, and at the same time decided to specially admit 3 candidates to study at the school. They are: Tran Thi Thu (Thanh Chuong), Nguyen Thi Anh Nguyet (Yen Thanh), Nguyen Thi Thu Ha (Thai Hoa Town).
The organizing committee also awarded 20 third prizes, 15 second prizes and 10 third prizes for the performances; for the collectives, there was 1 first prize for the Nam Dan collective; 2 second prizes: Thanh Chuong, Nghia Dan; 3 third prizes: Vinh City, Thai Hoa, Yen Thanh and 10 consolation prizes.
