Boy drowned at Thung May Lake

(Baonghean.vn) - While following his sister to the lake to play, a 7-year-old boy unfortunately slipped and fell into the lake and drowned.

The family took Anh home for burial.

Accordingly, the incident occurred on the evening of October 9. The victim was Nguyen Quoc Anh (7 years old, 2nd grade student at Quy Hop Town Primary School, Quy Hop District).

In the afternoon of the same day, when Anh and her sister, a 5th grader, went to Thung May Lake in town to play. At around 6 p.m. the same day, when they saw their daughter coming home but not seeing her, the family asked and found out what had happened so they organized a search. Nearly an hour later, the victim's body was discovered floating in the lake.

The police were present to complete the procedures and coordinate with the family to bring the child home for burial.
