(Baonghean) Low blood pressure is common in both sexes, however the rate of disease in women is higher than in men.

Blood pressure is considered low when the systolic blood pressure (maximum blood pressure) is below 100mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure (minimum blood pressure) is below 60mmHg or is more than 20mmHg lower than the previous normal blood pressure value.

People with low blood pressure often have the following symptoms: fatigue, dizziness, nausea, cold hands and feet, chest tightness, mental fatigue, poor sleep, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, decreased mental concentration, decreased sexual ability, wrinkled and dry skin with hair loss, sweating but still feeling cold, shortness of breath, especially after climbing stairs or doing heavy work, when changing positions, dizziness, fainting or fainting...

When these patients have acute hypotension, the body cannot adjust itself to provide enough nutrients and oxygen to vital organs such as the brain, heart, and kidneys, causing damage to these organs. If not treated promptly, low blood pressure can lead to the risk of angina, myocardial infarction, kidney failure, and more seriously, stroke... even life-threatening.

Therefore, when a patient sees the above symptoms, they need to go to a medical facility for examination and active treatment to limit possible complications for themselves. Patients should not arbitrarily buy medicine without consulting a doctor.

To prevent low blood pressure, we should live a moderate life, exercise regularly, eat nutritious foods, avoid overwork, tension, stress, and keep a relaxed and optimistic spirit...
