The patient was quickly transferred to the intensive care unit for emergency treatment. At this time, the patient was in a state of circulatory arrest and clinically dead.
According to a doctor, while the medical staff was actively performing emergency treatment, the patient's family received the news that the patient had died. Indignant, about a dozen relatives of the patient attacked the medical staff of the Intensive Care Unit.
"They jumped in and beat up Dr. Luc, Dr. Trung, Nurse Quang, Nurse Thao... Not only that, the family members also broke the defibrillator and all the glass in the treatment room of the department. Those present were terrified, many had to run away," a witness recounted.

The beaten doctors and nurses were later rescued and taken to the emergency room, where they had their wounds x-rayed and stitched.
Hundreds of people and doctors at the provincial hospital were horrified when witnessing the incident.
The incident was so complicated that the hospital leaders immediately called the police for assistance. Immediately, about 40 police officers were present to control the situation.

Fortunately, the police arrived in time to prevent the vandalism and beating of some relatives of the deceased patient.
Will be processed according to regulations
According to the meeting between the authorities and the patient's family, the Hospital Board of Directors concluded that the patient died of anaphylactic shock after being injected with antibiotics.
The victim's family asked the authorities to clarify the cause of the patient's death, but only performed an autopsy, not an autopsy.
The victim's relatives also provided information that before the injection, they told the doctor that the patient was allergic to antibiotics, but then still received the injection.
At around 6:00 p.m. the same day, the patient's body was taken home by his family for burial.
According to a long-time doctor at the hospital, Ha Tinh Hospital has never had such a serious incident of family members vandalizing and beating doctors and nurses.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Trung Hien, Captain of the Social Order Investigation Team of Ha Tinh City Police, said the incident happened because the family was upset and overexcited when their loved one died of drug shock.
City police arrived promptly to restore order, examine the scene, and collect records of violations of the law.
According to Mr. Hien, the deceased patient's family members caused a disturbance, smashed property including many glass doors, broke a defibrillator worth several hundred million (the whole hospital only had two used for emergency purposes), and injured many doctors and nurses.
"The above mentioned acts have been collected by the police, related records have been made and will be handled according to the provisions of the law. Whoever caused it will be handled," said Lieutenant Colonel Hien.
