Covid-19 patient who escaped from hospital in Nghe An has proactively returned

On the evening of June 18, Dr. Que Anh Tram - Director of the Tropical Disease Center (Nghe An General Hospital) said that the patient who escaped from the center proactively returned for treatment.

Earlier that afternoon, a Covid-19 patient residing in Hung Dung ward was transferred here for treatment. However, when the ambulance stopped, the patient ran away and refused to enter the patient reception area.
"Because we were so worried that the patient would go out into the community and infect many people, we immediately notified the Vinh City Medical Center to find the patient," said Dr. Que Anh Tram. Upon receiving the information, the Vinh City Medical Center also immediately issued an urgent notice to find this patient.
Meanwhile, after running about 500 meters, the patient actively returned to the treatment area. During that process, he did not have time to contact anyone. According to the doctors, the patient's mental state was not stable.
The Tropical Disease Center is where Covid-19 patients are treated. In Nghe An province, there are currently 20 patients, of which 19 are being treated here.
