Poor patients have another address to call for help when in trouble

On the morning of September 15, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross launched the program "For poor patients" to support patients in difficult circumstances.

Associate Professor Nguyen Thi Xuan Thu, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Societysaid the program supports patients who are in difficulty and cannot afford to cover the cost of medical examination and treatment. The project also aims to increase the socialization of patient care at hospitals to reduce the burden on the health system.

"This is a common home where poor patients can call for help from the community, individuals and charitable organizations," said Ms. Thu.

Poor patients can submit their application for support at the website vibenhnhanngheo.vn.The project coordinator will assess and verify each specific case./.
