Patient's death at Da Nang Hospital not related to Covid-19
News from the Da Nang Department of Health confirmed that Mr. NVY, father of Covid-19 patient No. 418, 85 years old in Thanh Binh ward, Hai Chau district, Da Nang city, has a history of kidney failure and diabetes.
Causes of death include pneumonia, sepsis on chronic COPD, myocarditis, ischemia, diabetes, and renal failure.
On July 5, Mr. NVY was treated at the Intensive Care and Poison Control Department, Da Nang Hospital, with a diagnosis of kidney failure, diabetes, and pneumonia. Since being admitted to the hospital, he has been visited and cared for by Patient 418.

Test results on July 27, using the Realtime RT-PCR method, were negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
