(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 22, the Board of Directors and doctors of Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) visited, examined and provided free medicine to parishioners, the elderly, policy families and poor households in Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city.

This is an activity within the medical examination and treatment program, medicine distribution and charity gift giving program that Bach Mai Hospital has been implementing for many years. With a large team of 57 participants, including 5 professors, associate professors, 12 doctors, 13 specialists 2, 5 masters, the group directly examined and consulted 500 people, focusing mainly on specialties such as cardiovascular, nephrology, infectious diseases, musculoskeletal system.

Giving medicine and consulting on how to use it to people

This is the second time the delegation of Bach Mai Hospital has come to Nghe An for charity examinations. In addition to examining people in Nghi Phu commune, the delegation also participated in medical examinations and treatment for people in Nghia Hanh commune, Tan Ky district. It is expected that both deployments will examine, provide medicine, and give gifts to 900 people with a total value of nearly 400 million VND. The entire amount will be contributed by hospital staff and benefactors. This is also an opportunity for people in Nghe An province to have access to leading medical experts, saving costs and time, especially for the poor, the elderly, and the lonely.
