Cua Dong General Hospital resumes operations from 6am on June 18

Following the direction of the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and the Director of the Department of Health, Cua Dong General Hospital has temporarily stopped receiving and treating new patients, but continues to examine and treat patients currently being treated as inpatients at the hospital.

Because previously, on June 15, Cua Dong General Hospital received patient N.D.T at the screening area for rapid SARS-CoV-2 antigen testing; the results showed that the patient was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. After that, Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control announced that patient N.D.T was infected with Covid-19.

On the afternoon of June 17, Nghe An Department of Health organized an inspection team led by Dr. Nguyen Huu Le - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Health, along with representatives of functional departments under the department to inspect the work of preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic and the current status of the process of triage, medical declaration, screening and rapid testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen and implementing 5K at Cua Dong General Hospital.

After inspection and evaluation, the Department of Health issued Official Dispatch No. 2349/SYT-NVY dated June 17, 2021 on continuing to receive patients at medical examination and treatment facilities. Accordingly, Cua Dong General Hospital is allowed to continue to receive and treat new patients from 6:00 a.m. on June 18, 2021.

In the context of the extremely complicated epidemic situation, in order to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of local people, in the coming time, the hospital will continue to drastically and synchronously implement many epidemic prevention solutions according to regulations of the health sector to ensure medical examination and treatment activities: Remind inpatients and their families to strictly follow the 5K regulations, stop nursing activities (each patient has a maximum of 1 caregiver), proactively plan to receive, isolate, and monitor cases confirmed to be infected with Covid-19...; to ensure the safest for patients and their families to feel secure when visiting and receiving treatment./.
