Northwest Regional General Hospital receives CPAP ventilators

(Baonghean) -The “East Meets West” organization has just sponsored a CPAP ventilator for the Pediatrics Department of Nghe An Northwestern Regional General Hospital. This device is used in cases of positive pressure ventilation, respiratory failure due to premature birth or pneumonia in newborns.

After one month of implementation, the Hospital received and treated and saved the lives of 4 premature infants and those with severe asphyxia after birth.

Previously, when this ventilator was not available, pediatric patients had to be transferred to higher levels, and the possibility of death or sequelae was very high.
