Xong Dang's wife and son were grateful for the doctors' dedication in treating her husband and even waived hospital fees and food expenses for the mother and son for nearly a month. |
During the treatment, Xong Dang's family repeatedly asked to take the patient back to the country, even though they knew for sure that if they asked, Xong Dang would die. The reason was that the family's economic situation was too difficult, with no money for food, let alone the treatment cost of hundreds of millions of dong.
Given the circumstances and condition of Xong Dang, the Board of Directors of the Provincial General Hospital encouraged the family to persevere in treatment and decided to waive the entire 130 million VND in hospital fees, while also supporting accommodation for 3 family members of the patient.
This is a noble gesture, demonstrating medical ethics and the spirit of borderless friendship of doctors and nurses of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital in treating patients and taking care of people's health.
