It is known that Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Vinh had two sons, Tran Van Tung (born in 1933) and Tran Van Nam (born in 1944), who died in the resistance war against the US. Mr. Mai also served as a civilian laborer on the front line, stationed in many fierce rural areas. When he heard that his two younger brothers had died, he asked to return home to take care of his mother. After his mother passed away, Mr. Mai was the one who worshiped his mother and the two martyrs. However, the small, low-rise house was dilapidated and had no place to place an altar for his mother and two younger brothers.

This is a charity activity that continues the family tradition from his late father - Doctor Nguyen Minh Hong as well as his wish when he was alive: to spend all the money earned from medical examination and treatment to support the construction of charity houses, invest in welfare projects and support capital and seeds to help the poor.
On this occasion, Minh Hong Hospital issued over 300 medical examination vouchers worth 100,000 VND each to give to poor households in Thanh Lien commune.
