Over the past 50 years, Vinh General Hospital has continuously developed in all aspects. Up to now, the hospital has 230 beds, with 20 departments, and a team of doctors and nurses meeting the structure of a class II hospital. The medical examination and treatment system in the entire hospital has been developed in both quality and quantity. In addition to the regular implementation of common techniques according to the technical classification list of a class II hospital, many advanced techniques and new specialized techniques have been implemented in departments and rooms. On behalf of the delegation, comrade Le Xuan Dai presented the Third Class Labor Medal to Meritorious Physician, Doctor Nguyen Xuan Sau, Director of the hospital.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Tien, Deputy Minister of Health, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of Vinh City General Hospital. At the same time, he suggested that the hospital should pay attention to investing in developing medical human resources, prioritizing the development of specialized departments, in order to create a separate brand for the hospital. Effectively manage and use new modern equipment, quickly and firmly access scientific and technical advances at home and abroad, and apply new and high-tech techniques to medical examination and treatment for the people.
