Vinh City General Hospital celebrates 63 years of Vietnamese Doctors' Day
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2018), on February 25, Vinh City General Hospital held a celebration and met generations of hospital leaders and staff through the years.

At the ceremony, generations of staff of Vinh City General Hospital through the periods reviewed together the glorious journey of construction and development of the Vietnam Health Sector and the achievements that the hospital has achieved in medical examination and treatment for the people.

Over 53 years of construction and development, generations of doctors of Vinh City General Hospital have overcome many difficulties, united, closely followed assigned tasks, constantly innovated and developed comprehensively.
Promoting the achievements of previous generations, the hospital's medical staff today continues to make efforts, step by step building and affirming the brand of Vinh City General Hospital in the hearts of the people of the province.

The hospital is the first unit of the Nghe An health sector to implement the mechanism of autonomy in all regular expenditures, since January 2017. After one year of implementation, the hospital has made a comprehensive and sustainable breakthrough in all aspects of operation. The appearance of the hospital has changed, becoming more spacious and fully equipped to serve patients; Machinery and equipment have been invested in a synchronous and modern manner, meeting the conditions for clinical departments to develop in depth; with 100 doctors trained in various specialties...

Along with that, many new specialized techniques at provincial and central levels have been successfully deployed at the hospital such as: Endoscopic surgery to remove kidney stones through the skin using a small tunnel; Total and partial hip replacement; Endoscopic surgery to reconstruct knee ligaments; Hemodialysis; Pathological anatomy techniques; Microbiology....
Medical ethics, service attitude and spirit are always maintained, enhanced, consolidated and promoted; creating the brand of Vinh General Hospital. The quality of service provided by the hospital is increasingly improved with the thorough application of IT, digitizing all medical examination and treatment activities. Currently, the hospital has achieved level 5/7 criteria of a smart hospital.
The working environment, material and spiritual life of cadres, civil servants and employees have been significantly improved. The hospital is a bright spot in all aspects of the provincial health sector. Over the past year, more than 10 hospitals in and outside the province have visited and studied.
