Vinh City General Hospital takes over full management of Vinh Transport Hospital from October 8

Vinh Transport Hospital is a grade III general hospital under the Department of Transport Medicine. The hospital was established in 1993, with 153 medical staff.

At the ceremony, after listening to the report on the current status of the organization, finance, assets, facilities, equipment, and operations of Vinh Transport Hospital and checking the current status of the detailed handover contents, the parties agreed to proceed with the signing.

In the signed minutes, the Department of Transport Health handed over Vinh Transport Hospital to the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Nghe An Department of Health, and Vinh General Hospital for management.

Accordingly, the parties are responsible for implementing the handover and acceptance contents, specifically as follows: The Department of Transport Health is responsible for coordinating with the Nghe An Department of Health to resolve the backlog and problems related to the operation of Vinh Transport Hospital before October 8, 2021. Vinh Transport Hospital is responsible for fully handing over all documents and records related to the organization, staff, employees, finance, and assets to Vinh City General Hospital.

Nghe An Department of Health directed Vinh City General Hospital to carry out procedures to receive Vinh Transport Hospital in its original state, manage it in accordance with regulations and coordinate with relevant agencies to continue handling the backlog related to Vinh Transport Hospital, before October 8.

Vinh City General Hospital is responsible for comprehensive management of Vinh Transport Hospital from the date of handover (October 8, 2021).

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of Nghe An Department of Health affirmed:Vinh City General Hospital is a district hospital but has achieved effective medical examination and treatment functions, meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of a large number of patients throughout the province. The merger of Vinh Transport Hospital into Vinh City General Hospital is very suitable for the general orientation of the industry. This is a favorable condition, adding strength to the medical staff of the Transport Hospital to develop technical expertise.

After the merger, the Department of Health will work with Vinh City to ensure specific orientation for technical expertise development; contributing to the goal of Vinh City becoming a regional medical center.
