Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital: Enthusiastic and dedicated to patients

I have had osteoarthritis for nearly 10 years now, and have been treated many times at the hospital but it has not been cured.

In July 2017, I was treated at the Oriental Medicine Department, Tay Nam Nghe An Hospital. After nearly 20 days of treatment, I was transferred to Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital for treatment.

As a hospital-hotel model, being treated at the hospital feels like going on a vacation. This makes our patients feel attached to the hospital and feel secure in their treatment.

In addition to a team of highly qualified doctors and nurses, the hospital also invites leading professors to examine and treat patients. I was fortunate to be examined, treated and prescribed medicine by Professor, Doctor Cao Minh Chau - General Secretary of the Vietnam Rehabilitation Association, Director of the Rehabilitation Center of Bach Mai Hospital.

At the hospital, I was assigned to the traditional medicine department. Based on my health condition and current illness, the doctor prescribed procedures such as electrolysis, electroshock, electroacupuncture, hydroacupuncture, pharaphin application, massage...; I also practiced exercises myself using other tools according to my own needs.

After 20 days of treatment at the hospital, with the attentive and enthusiastic care and guidance of the doctors, nurses and medical staff of the departments, my health has improved a lot. My back pain and knee swelling have subsided, and I can walk more easily. In particular, my left arm pain has improved significantly, and I can move more easily.

During the treatment period, I had the opportunity to meet people from ethnic minorities in remote areas, economically disadvantaged areas. The general feeling among them was excitement when they were able to return to Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital for treatment and recuperation.
