Military Hospital 4: Bringing high-tech machines into medical examination and treatment

(Baonghean.vn) - This morning (March 15), Hospital 4 (Military Region 4) held an opening ceremony for high-tech machines serving medical examination and treatment for officers and soldiers of the Military Region and the people.

Attending the event were Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan - Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics (VPA); Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Cuong - Commander of Military Region 4; Major General Vo Van Viet - Political Commissar of the Military Region and representatives of the General Staff, Political Department, Logistics Department under the Ministry of National Defense; departments at the department level and a large number of officers and doctors of Hospital 4.

Hospital 4, Logistics Department of Military Region 4 is the final hospital of the Military Region. After 57 years of construction and development, the hospital has continuously developed in all aspects, successfully completing its assigned functions and tasks. Especially in recent years, along with investment in infrastructure construction, the hospital has benefited from the budget from the Ministry of National Defense and a part of ODA capital, so it has been significantly equipped with machines and means to serve the medical examination and treatment needs of soldiers and people in the area.



Leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Military Region 4 Command, and Hospital 4 cut the ribbon to inaugurate high-tech machines put into service of officers and soldiers of Military Region 4 and the people.



Leaders of the General Department of Politics (QĐNDVN), Military Region 4 Command, and Hospital 4 listened to the presentation and checked the functions of the Siemens MagnettomC 0.35T MRI machine.

Leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and Military Region 4 Command inspected the operating procedures of the high-tech machine system.

With the attention and support of leaders at all levels, along with the efforts of the Hospital, since 2012, Military Hospital 4 has invested over 100 billion VND to carry out the hospital upgrade project, building a 7-storey central treatment building with a scale of 500 beds currently under construction. On this occasion, the hospital has exploited an additional 25 billion VND from the state budget to purchase 7 types of high-tech, new-generation medical equipment to better meet current medical examination and treatment needs such as: magnetic resonance imaging machine, automatic biochemical testing machine 400 tests/hour, retrograde endoscopic lithotripsy machine, cerebral blood flow machine, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring holter machine, high-speed centrifuge,...



Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Cuong - Commander of Military Region 4, delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony.

With this addition, the system of equipment and facilities serving the medical examination and treatment of Hospital 4 is now basically complete, modern and synchronous, meeting the requirements of a final-level hospital of the Military Region and can conveniently deploy some techniques of a grade 1 hospital.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Cuong, Commander of the Military Region, praised the efforts of the staff and doctors in the past time in examining and treating the officers and soldiers and the people. He also asked the hospital's staff and doctors to continue to learn and access new medical equipment to quickly serve the examination and treatment of the officers and soldiers of the Military Region and the people in the area.
