On December 13, Military Hospital 4, Department of Logistics and Engineering, Military Region 4 held a conference to summarize the work of the line in 2024. Attending the conference were representatives of the General Staff of Military Region IV, the Political Department, and the Department of Logistics and Engineering of Military Region 4. Military Hospital 4 is the final hospital of Military Region 4, invested in modern infrastructure and equipment, staff, doctors and nurses trained in advanced practice of level A techniques at many central hospitals to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of soldiers and people in the region.
Over the past year, the hospital has regularly ensured good military medical work for combat readiness activities, provided medical support to lower-level military units of the Military Region and units of the Ministry of National Defense stationed in Nghe An - Ha Tinh, participated in civil defense exercises of Quang Binh province, mobilized military medical teams to ensure conferences and working delegations of the Military Region and the Ministry of National Defense, provided medical support to Laos; participated in peacekeeping operations in South Sudan; Conducted medical examinations and treatment for 94,176 patients, including 18,231 military cases (an increase of 4.0% compared to 2023); periodic health examinations and admission examinations for 4,842 military personnel in the Military Region and units stationed in the Military Region. In addition, the Hospital also did a good job of taking care of people's health, examining, providing health consultation, and providing free medicine to more than 3,000 people from families with revolutionary contributions, war invalids, sick soldiers, religious people, and ethnic minorities in the area, contributing to the good implementation of the Military-Civilian Medical Program and the mass mobilization work set forth by the Ministry of National Defense.
