Public and private healthcare in Nghe An: Competition for development

Acting Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan talks about the hospital's request to stop implementing autonomy

"At this time, Decree 60 already regulates the issue of autonomy, so the request to stop implementing Decree 33 to switch to implementing according to the law and has been permitted by the Government is completely appropriate" - Acting Minister of Health spoke at the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Newly graduated resident doctors are paid 15 million VND by public hospitals, 70-100 million VND by private hospitals.

(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the contents that Mr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of Nghe An Department of Health answered to the 18th Provincial People's Council Delegate Phan Thi Minh Ly (Yen Thanh unit) at the direct answering session held on the afternoon of July 13. Mr. Chinh explained some of the reasons why 119 doctors and medical staff of Nghe An asked to quit their jobs at public hospitals in the past nearly 2 years.
