Traditional Medicine Hospital received the Second Class Labor Medal
(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of April 16, the Provincial Hospital of Traditional Medicine celebrated the 50th anniversary of the hospital's founding and received the Second Class Labor Medal.
Attending the ceremony, on the Central side were Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Vu Khanh - Director of the Department of Traditional Medicine Management - Ministry of Health; Associate Professor, Dr. of Science - Labor Hero - Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Tai Thu - Vice President of the World Federation of Acupuncture Associations - President of the Vietnam Acupuncture Association; Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Nam - Deputy Director of the Central Hospital of Traditional Medicine; Professor, Dr. Truong Viet Binh - Director of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of medical units in the province and all officials, civil servants and public employees of the Hospital.

Over the past 50 years, the hospital has constantly strived to grow from only 13 staff with 10 beds to now the scale of the hospital has been greatly improved, in 2003 the hospital was ranked grade II with a scale of 300 beds, 15 functional departments, the staff and workers at the hospital currently have over 200 people, including 5 CKII doctors, 6 masters, 10 CKI doctors and 17 doctors. With the motto of preserving and developing traditional medicine, combined with modern medicine, the hospital has achieved many results in the work of protecting and taking care of people's health.
The hospital has achieved many achievements and many noble awards from the Party and the State (1 Third Class Labor Medal; 2 Second Class Labor Medals and many excellent emulation flags from the Ministry of Health, the Provincial People's Committee, the hospital's Party Committee has been recognized for many consecutive years as a strong and clean Party Committee). This is a noble award, worthy of the continuous efforts of the collective of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the cause of protecting and taking care of people's health.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Xuan Dai praised the outstanding efforts of the staff, civil servants and public employees of the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital for their excellent performance in their assigned tasks. He also hoped that in the coming time, the team of traditional medicine practitioners and pharmacists combining Eastern and Western medicine would continue to strive for more achievements, promoting the spirit of solidarity and professional development as well as medical skills to contribute to better and better health care for the people./.
