(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2020) and raise funds to support poor patients, on the evening of July 27, Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital organized the program "Connecting Love". This is a bridge for businesses and philanthropists to give meaningful gifts to poor patients being treated at the hospital.

Promoting the spirit of mutual love and support, Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital organized the program "Connecting love" with the theme "Song of gratitude" to mobilize organizations and individuals to share and contribute to help poor patients and those in especially difficult circumstances.

The music night featured guest appearances by Meritorious Artist Minh Lac, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Ha, Sao Mai Nghe An First Prize winner Trang Dung, Sao Mai Ha Tinh First Prize winner Ngoc Huyen, The Voice Kids 2019 Khanh Vy... In addition, there were also elaborate performances performed by non-professional singers and dancers from the Hospital's Youth Union.

Not only to soothe the spirit, on this occasion, with the welfare fund, Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital gave 9 gifts to patients in especially difficult circumstances to give them more motivation to overcome the pain of illness and feel secure in their treatment.

In recent years, the Party Executive Committee of Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital and all medical staff in the unit have always made efforts in volunteer work, spreading good humanistic values ​​to people in difficult circumstances. Every year, the Hospital helps and provides material support to more than 1,000 patients in special circumstances; gives gifts, humanitarian medical examination and treatment, and free medicine to 650 ethnic minorities living in economically disadvantaged areas...

At the program, through open letters and direct support, the Organizing Committee raised 188,900,000 VND from businesses, units, charitable organizations, officials, civil servants, employees in the hospital, patients and their families... This amount of money is used as a fund to support and help patients in difficult circumstances at the Hospital and carry out charity projects: humanitarian medical examination and treatment, free medicine distribution; giving gifts to the poor living in difficult areas.
