Nghe An: Highlights of July 27th

* On the morning of July 27th in Hanoi, a delegation of leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front arrived.Laying wreaths in commemoration of the heroic martyrs and visiting the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh..

With profound respect and boundless gratitude, the delegation bowed in remembrance of the heroic martyrs – the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who sacrificed their lives for their homeland and country. The wreath laid by the delegation bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs".

* In Nghe An, the delegation included representatives from the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.Laying flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs.

At the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site (Nam Dan), the delegation respectfully offered prayers, flowers, and incense in commemoration, expressing their deep gratitude and respect for President Ho Chi Minh.

At the memorial site of the late General Secretary Le Hong Phong in Hung Thong commune, Hung Nguyen district, the delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee respectfully offered prayers, flowers, and incense in commemoration.

*On July 26, 2024, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment issued Report No. 5136/STNMT-BVMT regarding “Handling the unusual fish kill incident."in Chau Thanh commune, Quy Hop district" submitted to the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the report, based on the water sample analysis results, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment concluded: "Some parameters exceeded the permitted standards because the company pumped water into the karst cave (the old tin ore mining pit of Nghe Tinh Non-Ferrous Metals Joint Stock Company), which flows into the headwaters of Bac stream, Chau Thanh commune, Quy Hop district. This is one of the sources that polluted the surface water in the stream at the time of sampling."
