At 7:30 p.m. on January 1, the Criminal Investigation Police Team - Economic - Drug Crimes of Nghi Loc District Police coordinated with Nghi Thach Commune Police to patrol in Hamlet 13 and discovered a man in a wheelchair carrying a black plastic bag.

The working group conducted an inspection and discovered that the plastic bag contained 6 boxes of fireworks, 36 pieces each; 42 firecrackers; and 2 bags of ball fireworks, 100 pieces each. The total weight of the fireworks discovered and seized was 7.3 kg.

Pham Van Quang is disabled and unemployed. At the police station, he said he had just bought the fireworks from a stranger and was selling them for profit.

The funny thing is that when he was arrested by the police, Pham Van Quang hoped to be released and asked the police to give him back the fireworks so he could continue to sell them for pocket money.
