Arrest of North-South truck driver for illegally storing firecrackers
As a truck driver on the North-South route, Nguyen Dinh An bought fireworks in Quang Tri province, hid them in his truck, and resold them to those in need.
Through investigation, Hung Nguyen Commune Police discovered that Nguyen Dinh An (born in 1987), residing in Truong Vinh Ward, Nghe An Province, had signs of committing crimes related to firecrackers.
As a truck driver on the North-South route, during the process of transporting goods, Nguyen Dinh An colluded to buy illegal fireworks from across the border, then hid them with the goods on the truck and transported them to Vietnam to use and resell to those in need.
Determining that Nguyen Dinh An's behavior was complicated and had a negative impact on security and order in the area, Hung Nguyen Commune Police developed a plan to combat it.

After a period of monitoring and applying synchronous professional measures, on September 8, 2025, when the truck that Nguyen Dinh An drove arrived in Nghe An province, Hung Nguyen Commune Police and Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 (Traffic Police Department) arrested Nguyen Dinh An for the act ofpossession of prohibited goods.

Expanding the case on September 9, 2025, Hung Nguyen Commune Police urgently arrested Duong Van Niem (born in 1985), residing in Hung Nguyen Commune for the act of storing prohibited goods. The total seized evidence was 10kg of foreign-made firecrackers.
Currently, Hung Nguyen Commune Police are continuing to investigate, clarify, and handle the subjects according to the law.
