Mother and child hospitalized after bag snatched on the street

(Baonghean.vn)- At around 10:00 a.m. on August 13, on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An), a robbery occurred, causing a mother and child to be hospitalized.

According to local residents, at the time the son was driving the motorbike, carrying his mother, about 40 years old (residing in Quynh Tam commune, Quynh Luu district), traveling in the North - South direction. When they reached the border between Dien Truong and Dien Yen communes, Dien Chau district, two people on a motorbike came from behind and snatched the handbag the son was carrying.

The strong shock caused the motorbike carrying the mother and child to fall onto the road. The mother and child were injured and were taken to the emergency room by local people. The two robbers sped away from the scene.

According to family members, the mother and daughter were on their way home from a medical examination when the incident occurred. The stolen property in the bag included 3.5 million VND and an iPhone.

The case is currently being investigated by Dien Chau district police./.
