Prosecuted for buying and selling crystal meth

(Baonghean.vn)- On November 22, the Investigation Police Agency of Nghi Loc District Police (Nghe An) issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Nguyen Van Nghiem (born in 1971), residing in Hai Bang block, Nghi Hoa ward, Cua Lo town, for illegal drug trafficking.

Previously, at 11:35 a.m. on November 16, while patrolling Tan Nghia hamlet, Nghi Xuan commune, the working group of Nghi Loc district police and Nghi Xuan commune police discovered two young men with suspicious signs. Upon inspection, the working group discovered that one of the two subjects had a package of crystal meth, weighing 0.5 grams.

During the fight, the two subjects confessed that they bought the drugs from Nguyen Van Nghiem in Nghi Hoa ward, Cua Lo town. On the same afternoon, Nghi Loc district police issued an emergency arrest warrant for Nguyen Van Nghiem. Searching the subject's residence, the working group seized 04 packages of crystal meth, totaling 13 grams, 01 electronic scale to weigh the drugs and 02 mobile phones.

Nguyen Van Nghiem is addicted to crystal meth and has a criminal record for theft. The case is under further investigation.
