Binh Thanh District Police, Ho Chi Minh City are temporarily detaining two suspects, Nguyen Minh Quan (born in 1995, residing in Tay Ninh province) and Bui Tuong Linh (born in 1972, residing in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) to investigate and handle the act of "intentionally causing injury".

These are two students of Thanh Da Drug Rehabilitation Center, No. 1051 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Ward 28, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

On the afternoon of November 8, the two subjects cut the iron bars of room A2, then waited until midnight to break the surveillance camera to escape through the bathroom glass door, but were discovered by security guard Mr. Vuong Lam.

Quan and Linh rushed in, strangled Mr. Lam, pinned him to the ground, and then used a piece of broken glass to cut his neck. Hearing Mr. Lam's cries for help, the center's staff arrived in time to arrest the two suspects. Mr. Lam was given first aid and is out of danger./.
