((Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 12, in Vinh City, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held the Opening Ceremony of the 6th National Competition for Excellent Lecturers of Political Schools of Provinces, Central Cities, Cadre Schools of Ministries, Branches, and Central Organizations - 2017 in the Northern Region.

The national competition for excellent lecturers of provincial and municipal political schools, cadre schools of central ministries and organizations is held every three years by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. The competition has 64 lecturers from 33 political schools and cadres in the Northern region.

In his opening speech, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized: The organization of the National Excellent Teaching Competition together with teaching demonstration activities at schools has practical significance for the entire training and fostering activities of the political school system, cadre schools of ministries and branches nationwide, directly and positively affecting the organization of training and fostering activities, scientific research of schools, encouraging lecturers to actively update new knowledge, innovate teaching and learning methods, foster the teaching staff... contributing to promoting and further improving the quality of training and fostering cadres at political schools, ministerial schools and branches.

The competition for excellent lecturers creates opportunities and motivation for lecturers of schools to enrich and deepen the content of lectures, focus on improving teaching methods and means, flexibly combine active teaching methods; enhance the exchange and learning of experiences from each other to improve professional qualifications, expertise, passion, pride and good professional feelings.

Through the process of preparing, selecting and sending lecturers to participate in the Competition, schools can evaluate and classify lecturers more accurately, on that basis, they can plan to continue training and fostering the teaching staff in the following years, towards a standard political school model.

The results of the contest are not only the basis for selecting and recognizing excellent lecturers, but also an opportunity to affirm achievements and experience in organizing and managing training and fostering activities for cadres; promptly encouraging and praising achievements and emulation movements of political schools and cadre schools of ministries and branches nationwide.

The Organizing Committee of the Contest needs to prepare the necessary conditions well, ensuring that the contest takes place on schedule and within the prescribed time. The Director of the Academy of Politics requested that the lecturers of the schools participating in this contest must consider this a great challenge and also a great honor.

In the current conditions, in order to successfully implement the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, building high-quality human resources in general and training, fostering and building a team of leaders and managers of the province with sufficient capacity, qualities and prestige, equal to the tasks play a very important role, being a premise for the province to develop rapidly and sustainably.

The 6th National Competition for Excellent Lecturers of Provincial and Municipal Political Schools, Cadre Schools of Ministries and Sectors with 3 competition contents: lesson plan competition, writing competition, classroom teaching competition and considering the condition of scientific research results serving teaching in the past 3 years. The form and content have new points compared to previous competitions, more rigorous and scientific, contributing to overcoming the current limitations of lecturers of political schools./.
