Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company is a subsidiary of Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation, with a factory located in Quynh Vinh commune, Hoang Mai town.

After nearly 16 years of production and business, the company has continuously developed, produced stably and grown continuously. In 2017, the unit paid more than 53 billion VND to the State budget.

In the first quarter of 2018, the company produced 355,427 tons of clinker and 366,683 tons of cement.

Regarding the Hoang Mai 2 Cement project, the investment scale is 12,000 tons of clinker/day, equivalent to 4.5 million tons of cement/year, divided into 2 phases with 2 production lines with a capacity of 6,000 tons of clinker/day. The construction site is also in Quynh Vinh commune, Hoang Mai town.

Currently, the company is implementing procedures to request permission to survey the factory construction site, prepare a project feasibility study report with the goal of investing in a phase 1 factory (2019 - 2023) with a capacity of 6,000 tons of clinker/day and a cement grinding station line with a capacity of 1.5 million tons/year.

At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh acknowledged the company's development steps and contributions to social security work.

Emphasizing that Hoang Mai town is planned as an urban area developing industrial and service zones, Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh pointed out that the development of Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company needs to be placed in the overall development orientation of the town, ensuring harmony and the environment.

Going into details, the Provincial Party Secretary said that the general spirit is to support the company to expand production according to the plan, including building the second phase of the factory in Quynh Vinh commune and building a seaport in Dong Hoi.

As for projects such as the Cement Grinding Station at Dong Hoi Port, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that Hoang Mai town and the company discuss and calculate specifically to ensure the harmony of interests of both sides.

The Provincial Party Secretary also responded to a number of the company's proposals, agreeing that the province would help the company disseminate Party regulations to party members and workers, as well as provide political theory training...

At the end of the meeting, the head of the Provincial Party Committee wished the Company continued development; at the same time, he hoped that the enterprise would accompany and help the locality, especially trying to consider accepting simple workers from poor households and policy households to work./.
