Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy visited and wished Tet to officers and soldiers of Tri Le Border Guard Station
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 29, comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and wished a Happy Lunar New Year 2024 to officers and soldiers of Tri Le Border Guard Station (Que Phong).

Accompanying the delegation were comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Nguyen Dinh Hung - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Vi Van Son - Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, etc.

Tri Le Border Guard StationStationed in Lien Hop village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, assigned to manage and protect more than 18.5km of border line on the Vietnam - Laos border, 8 national border markers and 1 Tri Le border commune.
Overcoming difficulties due to the large management area and harsh weather, Tri Le Border Guard Station has performed well in the fields of management, firmly protecting sovereignty, territory and border security; fighting and preventing all types of crimes; building and consolidating political bases, developing economy, culture and society; eliminating hunger and reducing poverty; well implementing the movement of Border Guards joining hands to build new rural areas and border foreign affairs.

Notably, over the past year, the unit has conducted many joint patrols with Company 217/Laos, while maintaining the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos through activities supporting the Den Din Police Station, Border Guard, Company 217/Laos, and exchange and visit activities with the people of Phan Thong village, Muong Quan district, Hua Phan province (Laos), creating a favorable environment for people on both sides of the border to visit relatives and do business.
Tri Le Border Guard Station also presided over the arrest of 5 cases/8 subjects; coordinated the arrest of 6 cases/6 subjects related to criminal activities, drug trafficking; 1 murder case, 1 case of illegal transportation of forest products.

Besides, with their responsibility and prestige, officers and soldiers of Tri Le Border Post have promoted their core role in mobilizing the masses in building politics at the grassroots level, implementing the Party's policies and the State's laws.
Accordingly, the unit assigned 21 party members to be in charge of 87 households and 17 cadres to be in charge of 33 prestigious people; advised on consolidating 4 party organizations, 13 political and social organizations; perfected 4 border and landmark self-management groups; 16 village and hamlet security and order self-management groups; sponsored 6 "adopted border guards"; directly constructed 18 house foundations in Nam Nhoong and Tri Le communes; gave dozens of gifts and hundreds of working days to help people in the area... Thereby, contributing to building the Party and building a strong grassroots government.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, reviewing some important achievements of the province in the past year, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy emphasized that the overall results included the contributions of officers and soldiers of Tri Le Border Post - at the frontline of the Fatherland, representing the Party, State and People to protect the sovereignty and security of the national border.

Based on the analysis of the domestic context and situation, the province's tasks in 2024, in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary requested officers and soldiers of Tri Le Border Guard Station to always uphold the spirit of revolutionary vigilance, continue to grasp the internal and external situation and the plots and methods of operation of hostile forces and subjects; analyze carefully, forecast closely, and advise promptly to Party committees and authorities; strengthen border patrol work to promptly prevent and handle activities that violate the border, territory, and national sovereignty, creating pretexts to disrupt security and order in border areas;...



The unit also needs to continue to coordinate well with functional forces to promptly attack, fight, sweep, and prevent all types of crimes operating in the border area; perform well the role of the first checkpoint on the border to prevent and combat all types of crimes, especially drug crimes.
Emphasizing, “the people are our ears, our eyes, our brothers, our sisters, our family”. Each officer and soldier at the Station is far from home, protected and loved by the people. The head of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee requested that officers and soldiers at the Station continue to stay close, support, share, and guide the people to develop the economy, support their children to go to school, as well as contribute to building increasingly strong Party organizations and grassroots authorities;…

The unit also needs to continue to strengthen cooperative relations and closely coordinate with units of Laos, thereby contributing to fostering the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
"The working delegation believes that if you promote the achieved results, maintain your courage, and raise your vigilance, you will continue to fulfill your assigned political tasks well," the Provincial Party Secretary believed.


Preparing to celebrate the traditional New Year of the nation, the Provincial Party Secretary shared with the officers and soldiers that due to the nature of their duties, they had to stay on duty during the New Year; thereby requesting the unit leaders, as well as local Party committees and authorities at all levels in the area to pay attention to taking care of the officers and soldiers on duty and the people in the area to celebrate the New Year, enjoy Spring, be warm, share and be safe.
