Being chased, 'dog thief shot and injured 2 people'
Being discovered and chased by people, 2 "dog thieves" used homemade guns to shoot and injure 2 people.
On November 16, Yen Khanh District Police, Ninh Binh Province, said they were detaining two suspects for theft, illegal use of guns, and intentional infliction of injury.

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on November 14, Le Van Bay (born in 1973) and Le Van Chung (born in 1985), both residing in Khanh Mau commune, Yen Khanh district, rode a motorbike to steal a dog from Mr. To Van Toan's house (Hamlet 8, Mau Khanh commune) when they were discovered and chased by Nguyen Van Linh (born in 1992) and Pham Van Duong (born in 1987), both residing in Hamlet 8.
During the chase, Mr. Linh and Mr. Duong were shot and injured by a "dog thief" with a homemade gun and had to be hospitalized.
Using professional measures, after half a day of verification, Yen Khanh District Police arrested Bay and Chung and seized 1 homemade gun, 1 motorbike, 2 packages of powder suspected to be explosives, 2kg of bullets, and many shell casings.
The incident is being further investigated by the authorities./.
