Two men seriously injured after being hit by construction materials

Two men were taking out materials when dozens of sheets of material fell on them and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.

Initial information, at around 9am on December 24, at house number 126 Ton Duc Thang street, An Duong ward (Le Chan, Hai Phong), 2 middle-aged men were getting materials in the store when suddenly dozens of construction materials fell on them.

Immediately, the surrounding people shouted and together pulled the pile of materials out to save the victims. After that, the 2 victims were taken to Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital in Hai Phong for emergency treatment.

A doctor from the Emergency Department of Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital in Hai Phong said that the department received 1 victim in a state of cardiac arrest and 1 victim with abdominal trauma.

After intensive resuscitation, one victim's heart started beating again. Both victims are being taken to the intensive care unit for emergency treatment and wound treatment.

It is known that the incident occurred at a building materials store (aluminum plastic panels, mica, fomech...) of the Construction Investment Development and Trade Joint Stock Company, owned by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung.

Upon receiving the news, local authorities were present to block off the scene and collect evidence to serve the investigation to clarify the cause of the accident.
