Armored Corps: Summary of 5 years of implementing Resolution 382 and 2 years of implementing Directive 590 of the Central Military Party Committee
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of October 29, at Brigade 215, the Party Committee of the Armored Corps reviewed 5 years of implementing Resolution 382 of the Central Military Party Committee on leading technical work in the new situation. Attending the meeting were Major General Nguyen Quang Bac - Deputy Director of the General Department of Engineering; Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Corps; and representatives of departments and ministries under the Corps.
After 5 years of thoroughly grasping and implementing Resolution 382 of the Central Military Commission on leading technical work in the new situation, the Armored Corps has focused on leading and directing to ensure good modern weapons and technical equipment to serve combat readiness tasks in the entire Corps. Timely advising the Ministry of National Defense to purchase, improve and modernize armored tanks and technical supplies. Focusing on improving the quality of maintenance, storage, repair and restoration of technical supplies and equipment after use. Developing a project to adjust and supplement the planning of the Corps' warehouse system for the period 2010 - 2020, with a vision to 2030. Units have performed well in labor safety and protection, ensuring good fire prevention and fighting equipment and ammunition depot safety.

In addition to focusing on investment and innovation in weapons and equipment, the Corps also does a good job of training and educating a team of cadres and technical staff to meet the requirements of the tasks set out in the new situation. Environmental science and technology and military scientific information work are strongly deployed. Typical examples include participation in improving T54 vehicles, researching and designing the manufacturing of hydraulic power steering systems to control the main clutch and gearbox of T54 and T55 tanks, etc.
Summarizing 5 years of implementing Resolution 382, the Armored Corps awarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Resolution. On this occasion, delegates attending the conference also directly visited the technical area, motorbike warehouses and production areas of Brigade 215.
Then, this morning, October 30, at Brigade 215, the Party Committee of the Armored Corps held a conference to review two years of implementing Directive 590 of the Central Military Party Committee on continuing to promote the building and implementation of grassroots democracy regulations in the army in the 2010-2012 period.
Immediately after the directive of the Central Military Party Committee, the armored corps promptly established a steering committee to implement and disseminate to officers and soldiers the specific action program. Therefore, after 2 years of implementation, the grassroots democracy regulations in the army in the armored corps achieved many important results. The awareness of party members and soldiers, especially the command committee, has many positive changes, the quality of implementing the democracy regulations has been improved, the internal solidarity of the corps, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party committee and organization have been maintained and strengthened, promoting the role of the collective leadership and officers and soldiers.
At the conference, delegates also discussed and proposed many solutions to better implement the grassroots democracy regulations in the army in the coming time, strengthen solidarity, promote initiatives and experiences, build a regular and modern armored army, meeting the requirements of the tasks assigned by the Party and the people.
