The Armored Corps held a preliminary review of the Campaign on weapons management and exploitation.
On the afternoon of September 25, at the 215th Tank Brigade (Quynh Chau commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province), the Armored Corps held a conference to review the Campaign "Management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment well, durably, safely, economically and traffic safety" (Campaign 50) for the period 2020-2024.
Attending the conference were comrades: Major General Nguyen Duc Dinh - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Armored Corps; Colonel Phan Hai Long - Deputy Commander of the Armored Corps, Head of the Steering Committee of the Campaign; Colonel Nguyen Duc Thanh - Deputy Director of the Corps' Technical Department, General Department of Technology.
Representatives of the leaders of the Military Training Department, Military Forces (General Staff); agencies under the General Department of Engineering; units in the Armored Corps; Artillery Brigade 16, Armored Brigade 206 (Military Region 4); Military Command and Police of Quynh Luu district.
The conference was held to evaluate the capacity and leadership effectiveness of Party committees at all levels in maintaining and implementing the Campaign "Managing and exploiting weapons and technical equipment well, durably, safely, economically and traffic safety" for the period 2020-2024 in the entire Army Corps.Armored vehicles.
Thereby, drawing out good experiences and effective methods in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of the movement at all levels; determining directions and solutions to continue improving the quality and effectiveness of the movement to meet the requirements and tasks of the Corps in the new situation.
Accordingly, in the 2020-2024 period, the Armored Corps has thoroughly grasped and successfully implemented the contents, goals and requirements of the Campaign "Managing and exploiting weapons and technical equipment well, durably, safely, economically and traffic safety".
The contents and indicators on management of weapons and technical equipment; exploitation of good and durable weapons and technical equipment; ensuring safety of weapons and technical equipment, labor safety and hygiene, public order and safety, network security, traffic safety; practicing thrift... all achieved comprehensive results.
The awareness of officers and soldiers and the quality of technical work of the Corps have been improved, meeting the requirements of combat readiness, training, disaster prevention, search and rescue; contributing to building a strong, comprehensive Corps "Exemplary, typical".
During the 2025 - 2029 period, the Armored Corps will continue to thoroughly grasp the directives and instructions of theMinistry of Defenseon organizing the implementation of the Campaign "Managing and exploiting weapons and technical equipment well, durably, safely, economically and traffic safety" in the new situation; focusing on innovating implementation methods, creating a strong change from awareness to action of all organizations and individuals; focusing on the goal of exploiting good and durable technical equipment, especially new technical equipment; ensuring safety in all activities; linking the implementation of the campaign with the Emulation movement to Win and other campaigns, contributing to the successful completion of all tasks of the Corps.
At the conference, the Armored Corps commended 13 collectives and 17 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "Good, durable, safe, economical management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment and traffic safety" for the period 2020 - 2024; launched and signed an emulation agreement to implement the Campaign "Good, durable, safe, economical management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment and traffic safety" for the period 2025 - 2029.
