French, Polish soldiers cannot help Kiev defeat Russian army
(Baonghean.vn) - The Chinese daily also believes that the upcoming US presidential election will have a major impact on the Ukraine conflict.

Russia's TASS news agency reported on March 22 that China's Global Times quoted political analysts as saying that the European Union's direct support for Ukraine, especially considering sending French and Polish soldiers to the front line, would not help Kiev defeat the Russian army.
"Regarding sending European troops to fight Russia in Ukraine, Chinese experts said that reinforcements from countries like France and Poland can only help Ukraine strengthen its defenses but are not capable of defeating Russian troops and regaining lost lands," the daily wrote.
According to Cui Heng, a scholar from the Shanghai-based SCO Institute for Judicial Cooperation and International Exchange, the upcoming US presidential election will have a major impact on the Ukraine conflict.
His colleague Song Luzheng, a Chinese scholar based in France and a researcher at the Fudan University Research Institute, believes that “if the West and Ukraine fail to prevent Russia from achieving more victories on the battlefield,” they may have to “accept reality.”
“Launching direct military intervention would escalate the crisis to a terrible level,” he warned.
Chinese experts stressed that sending European troops to Ukraine could cause significant damage to the authorities of all major Western countries. In addition, it should be noted that the leaders of countries that strongly support sending aid to Ukraine at all costs will have to bear responsibility and be prepared for a growing wave of opposition.
Earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament - Verkhovna Rada, Alexey Goncharenko said that the French government is considering sending a European military delegation to the Ukrainian regions bordering Belarus. He speculated that Paris is said to want to form a coalition of allies, which could include Poland and the Baltic states.
