BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh region gives support to build houses for people in Tuong Duong
On the morning of October 15, BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh region coordinated with Nghe An Newspaper to organize a house building support for Mr. Luong Van Chom's family in Pieng O village, Xieng My commune, Tuong Duong district.
Attending on the local government side were comrade Le Van Luong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee. On the Nghe An Newspaper side were comrades: Ngo Duc Kien - Party Committee Secretary, Editor-in-Chief; Tran Huu Nghia - Deputy Editor-in-Chief. On the BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh side were Mr. Dinh Van Tao - Director of BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh region, Mr. Ho Manh Truong - Director of BNI TNT Legends region.
Mr. Luong Van Chom's household is poor, consisting of 4 members, Mr. Chom himself is often sick. Accordingly, based on the review of Xieng My commune, through the connection of Nghe An Newspaper, BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh region supported 50 million VND, along with the joint efforts from the family, the house of gratitude was built and completed after more than 5 months of construction with full functionality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Van Tao - Director of BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh region said that with sympathy and sharing, the house of gratitude is a contribution from the entire BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh community to Mr. Luong Van Chom's family. BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh region hopes that his family will soon stabilize their lives, work and produce with peace of mind, strive to escape poverty, and contribute to the goal of building new rural areas in Xieng My commune in particular and Tuong Duong district in general.
On this occasion, Nghe An Newspaper also presented 10 million VND to the Fatherland Front Committee of Tuong Duong district to support local people in overcoming the consequences of floods at the end of last September.
Since the establishment of BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh (March 2014), there have been 598 members and 3,074 meetings have been organized for business owners to meet, connect, cooperate and as a result, 123,552 business opportunities have been created and 15,509 guests have been welcomed. The total value of sales that members have exchanged with each other from these business exchange activities is up to 4,335 billion VND.

BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh region has organized many charity activities in 3 provinces of Nghe An, Thanh Hoa and Ha Tinh. The total amount of charity contributions from the entire BNI Thanh Nghe Tinh community is more than 6 billion VND. Outstanding charity projects include supporting schools, supporting the poor, building 9 charity houses and building computer classrooms for schools in Que Phong district, warm Tet at the border in Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Que Phong districts...
