In 2011, Nghe An Border Guard has synchronously deployed border protection measures, managed and firmly protected the sovereignty and security of the border and sea areas. Rewarding groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2011
Border guards actively participate in building and consolidating political bases, developing the economy, culture and society of border areas and coastal areas, contributing to building a strong people's border defense. Continue to effectively and on schedule implement Plan 316 on "Conservation and sustainable development of the Dan Lai ethnic minority" in the core area of Pu Mat National Park. Construction has been carried out and the Bung village military-civilian medical station has been handed over and put into use, with a total value of more than 1.4 billion VND; Bung village primary school worth 2.5 billion VND; 2 clean water projects worth nearly 6 billion VND; mobilize agencies and enterprises inside and outside the province to support 187 million VND to help people buy breeding animals to develop livestock and 200 sets of clothes to give to the Dan Lai people in Bung and Co Phat villages.
