(Baonghean.vn) - The delegation of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee attending the 13th National Party Congress was elected by the 19th Provincial Party Congress, consisting of 29 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates. The Politburo assigned 4 Central Party Committee members to participate in the delegation.

Implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated May 30, 2019 of the Politburo on "Party Congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Congress of the Party", by October 30, 2020, all Party Committees directly under the Central Committee had completed the organization of the congress, ensuring progress and quality and elected 1,381 official delegates to attend the 13th National Party Congress according to the correct number of delegates allocated by the Politburo to each Party Committee directly under the Central Committee.
After the congress, the Central Party Committees reported the results of the election of delegates to the 13th National Party Congress, along with a list of abstracts, CVs, and a summary report analyzing the structure of delegates in accordance with the requirements and regulations.

The Central Organizing Committee has received and reviewed the report on the delegate profiles and provided guidance on completing the delegate profiles. On that basis, the Politburo has decided to establish 67 delegations and appoint delegation heads; assigned 191 Central Executive Committee members (both official and alternate) to participate in the activities of the 67 delegations; and at the same time, appointed 15 delegates to attend the 13th National Congress of the Party.

Along with that, the Politburo assigned 4 Party Central Committee members to participate in the delegation, including: Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Nguyen Thanh Binh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission; Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, State Auditor General; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

According to Notice No. 238-TB/TW dated December 23, 2020 of the Politburo, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee is the Head of the delegation of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee unanimously assigned Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee as Deputy Head of the delegation.
