Comrade Bui Van Cuong holds the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

On the morning of April 12, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work of the VGCL.

The conference announced the Politburo's Decisions on the removal of comrade Dang Ngoc Tung, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, from the position of Party Secretary and the assignment of comrade Bui Van Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, as Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member and Head of the Central Organization Committee, acknowledged the great contributions of Comrade Dang Ngoc Tung to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

At the same time, comrade Pham Minh Chinh expressed his confidence that with the experience and positions that comrade Bui Van Cuong has held, and the solidarity and support of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, comrade Bui Van Cuong will successfully complete the new task assigned by the Politburo.

Comrade Dang Ngoc Tung thanked the Party, State, and the Party Delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for their attention and support, helping him fulfill his duties in his position during the past time.

Comrade Bui Van Cuong thanked the Politburo for trusting and assigning the task, considering it a great honor and also a heavy responsibility: "In the context of increasingly deep international integration posing many challenges to the trade union organization, I personally need to continue studying and researching with the help of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to contribute to building a strong trade union organization; continue to be a representative and a trusted support for union members, for the benefit of workers and laborers".

Comrade Nguyen Quang Duong holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc.

On the afternoon of April 12, at the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, the Politburo held a ceremony to announce the Decision on personnel work.

Specifically, in Decision No. 130-QD/TW of the Politburo, the Politburo assigned comrade Dao Ngoc Dung to stop participating in the Party Executive Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc for the 2015-2020 term, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

In Decision No. 137-QD/TW, the Politburo assigned comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, to cease participating in the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc for the 2015-2020 term.

Presenting the decision and speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Minh Chinh said that comrades Dao Ngoc Dung and Nguyen Quang Duong are cadres with basic training, having worked in many positions, having extensive experience and strong political will; in their new positions, the Central Committee hopes that they will continue to promote their capacity, lead and direct the successful implementation of assigned tasks, making a decisive contribution to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress.

Accordingly, the Politburo assigned comrade Pham Viet Thanh, member of the 12th Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc for the 2015-2020 term, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines Corporation to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc for the 2015-2020 term.

Comrade Pham Minh Chinh said that Comrade Pham Viet Thanh is a well-trained officer in the aviation industry, has been involved in the aviation industry throughout his entire career, and is considered a new generation of business leaders full of courage and enthusiasm.
