Provincial Military Command commends typical examples of studying and following Uncle Ho

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 6, the Provincial Military Command held a conference to review two years of implementing Directive 03-CT-TU of the Politburo and to meet and honor typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

Attending the conference were Major General Nguyen Chi Huong - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 and departments and branches under the Military Region, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Thai Van Hang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; To Hong Hai - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and representatives of commanders, advanced models of the Military Commands of 20 districts, cities and towns and military units under the Provincial Military Command.

Over the past two years, the Provincial Military Command has promoted the movement to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh with practical contents. During that process, many typical individuals have appeared in various fields of work; the self-awareness to preserve and practice ethics, lifestyle, style, and daily behavior of cadres and party members of the entire force has changed positively. In particular, the emulation movement "Military forces join hands to build new rural areas" mobilized more than 5,000 working days, built more than 45km of inter-village and inter-commune roads, and 40km of intra-field canals. Ethnic minorities are encouraged not to raise poultry and livestock under stilt houses.

Promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in his homeland, in recent years, the movement "Save yourself for the needy" and the movement "Love for comrades" in Nghe An Military Forces have always been maintained and promoted effectively. Cadres and soldiers have donated 400 million VND to support families with preferential policies and poor students who love to study, and built Great Unity houses for poor families and concrete roads between villages and hamlets.

Summarizing 2 years of implementing Directive 03, the Provincial Military Command has 25 collectives and 31 exemplary individuals being commended at all levels. On this occasion, to continue promoting the campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", the Provincial Military Command Party Committee organized a signing ceremony of emulation and emulation covenants with the theme "Remembering Uncle Ho's teachings, determined to compete for 3 firsts, 2 nos" (best ideological awareness, performing tasks with the highest results, organizing emulation activities most effectively and not violating discipline and laws, not allowing unsafety to occur).

Colonel Nguyen Sy Hoi, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, awarded certificates of merit to 25 collectives.

Previously, under the statue of Uncle Ho at Ho Chi Minh Square, the Party Committee, commanders of units of the Provincial Military Command and delegates held a flower offering ceremony, reporting to Uncle Ho on the results achieved after 2 years of implementing Directive 03.
