Nghe An Provincial Military Command donated breeding cows to 10 poor households.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 28, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command organized a donation of breeding cows to 10 poor households in Nam Giai commune, Que Phong district with a total value of 150 million VND.

Attending the awarding ceremony were Colonel Ha Tan Tien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Que Phong district and a large number of cadres and people of Nam Giai commune.

The cow donation ceremony is one of the charitable activities carried out by officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command over the past years, following the Provincial Party Committee's policy of each unit receiving help from a poor commune in Western Nghe An.

From 2012 to now, from the fund "Save for yourself, save for the needy", the Provincial Military Command has supported Nam Giai commune with many meaningful projects and works such as building rural roads, building charity houses, donating breeding cows, providing free medical examinations and medicine... The total amount of support over the past time is more than 900 million VND.

Comrade Le Van Giap - Chairman of Que Phong District People's Committee awarded 500,000 VND/household to support the repair of livestock barns.

Also at the ceremony, the People's Committee of Que Phong district presented 500,000 VND to 10 poor households receiving breeding cows on this occasion, helping people have more conditions to repair barns, ensuring conditions for cattle breeding development.
