(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, August 3, in Nam Giai commune (Que Phong), the Provincial Military Command held a preliminary review of the task of helping people evacuate from the Hua Na hydroelectric reservoir area in Thong Thu commune and Nam Giai commune..Attending the preliminary review session were Colonel Bui Hoai Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, and representatives of Que Phong district leaders.
Provincial Military Command gives gifts to Nam Giai commune
With a high sense of responsibility, in nearly 2 months, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command have completed a large amount of work. From June 16 to July 21, 2012, 4,000 working days of officers and soldiers of Regiment 764, Working Team No. 6 were mobilized to directly dismantle, load and erect more than 277 houses (both new and old), of which 260 houses were in Hua Na, Ang, Ca Na, Don, Loc, Thong Thu villages to the resettlement area, and 12 houses in Dong Van commune were roofed.
In Nam Giai commune, from July 23 to August 2, 2012, the Provincial Military Command mobilized 1,200 working days and 87 million VND from contributions from officers and soldiers to help the locality buy 15 cubic meters of boulders, 4,200 kg of cement; exploit and transport 35 cubic meters of sand and gravel to make 4,000 dashboard bricks; dig and fill 12 cubic meters of soil to build a 50m fence of the medical station. Together with the youth union members and local people, dig and fill, repair 2.5 km of rural roads in Cang and Pong villages.
Free medical examination and medicine for people
On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command organized the handover of some medical equipment to support the upgrading of Nam Giai Commune Health Station (6 Inoc beds, 7 patient cabinets, 2 injection tables, 2 blood pressure monitors, 1 tooth extraction kit, 1 instrument autoclave), some essential medicines and organized free medical examination and medicine for 100 people, worth 5 million VND.
