The Provincial Military Command conducts defense drills for districts.

On August 7, the working delegation of the Nghe An Provincial Defense Area Exercise Steering Committee (KVPT) led by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command trained and fostered the exercise framework of Do Luong and Anh Son districts. Also participating in the working delegation was Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong - Deputy Political Commissar of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

Accordingly, delegates participating in the district-level KVPT exercise were instructed and trained on a number of contents such as: Characteristics of enemy operations when attacking the district KVPT and activities of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, and mass organizations in moving the locality into national defense states; Order of action of local Party committees in the exercise stages; Order of action of the Chairman, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee and Heads of departments and branches in the exercise stages.

Through the training, the aim is to unify the basic content in the preparation, direction and practice of drills, and operate the mechanism according to Resolution 28 of the Politburo in the district's KVPT; Decree 02 of the Government on the state of national defense emergency. Thereby, it will be the basis for Do Luong and Anh Son districts to organize training and be ready to participate in the 2021 Nghe An province KVPT exercise right after stabilizing the Covid-19 epidemic situation in the area.
