The telegram stated: Recently, in some provinces and cities, there have been continuous fires of cars and motorbikes of different types, manufacturers and years of use. When the incidents occurred, the police forces at all levels coordinated with relevant sectors to focus on directing the resolution. However, determining the cause of the fire is very difficult, the statistics are not unified and complete, many cases are only known through the press. The above situation requires state management agencies to quickly find out the cause and violations.
Therefore, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security requested the police of all units and localities to proactively approach the fire scene, coordinate with the investigation agencies at all levels to find the cause of the fires; at the same time, inform the people to proactively prevent them. The Ministry of Public Security assigned the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police force to be responsible for statistics on car and motorbike fires; strictly handle individuals who sell gasoline and oil spontaneously, not ensuring fire prevention and fighting requirements in the assigned area.
The Ministry of Public Security also directed investigation forces at all levels to focus on clarifying the causes of the fires; grasping the business situation of importing and distributing gasoline, oil and additives of import sources; verifying whether there is fraud or violation in selling gasoline and oil products that do not meet technical standards, as well as not selling the right types of gasoline and oil at gasoline and oil stores to strictly handle them according to the provisions of law.
