The Ministry of Public Security agreed to let candidate Nguyen Duc Nga in Nghe An pass the exam.
The Ministry of Public Security has agreed to allow Nguyen Duc Nga in Nam Dan (Nghe An) who scored 29 points in the national high school exam to be admitted to the People's Police Academy.
On the afternoon of September 21, speaking with CAND Newspaper reporters, Major General Do Ngoc Can, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the CAND, said that the Ministry of Public Security has agreed to allow Nguyen Duc Nga in Nam Dan (Nghe An), who scored 29 points in the national high school exam, to be admitted to the People's Police Academy.
This is the second case of a candidate being "taken care of politically" by the Ministry of Public Security to qualify for admission to the People's Police Academy.
According to Major General Do Ngoc Can, on September 20, after the press reported on the case of candidate Nguyen Duc Nga in Nghe An who was suspended from enrolling in the People's Police Academy because his father had a criminal record for "Intentionally causing injury" (suspended sentence), even though it was a day off (Sunday), Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang directed the General Department of Politics of the People's Public Security to promptly verify and clarify the case of this candidate.
Following the direction of the Minister, on the morning of September 21, Nghe An Provincial Police had a specific report on the case of Nguyen Duc Nga.
The General Department of Politics of the People's Public Security based on specific regulations of the People's Public Security force and Circular 53 dated August 15, 2012 regulating political standards for People's Public Security officers and soldiers, candidate Nguyen Duc Nga violated point a, clause 2, article 6 in cases of not being recruited into the People's Public Security force.

Nguyen Duc Nga was officially approved by the Ministry of Public Security to enroll. |
However, after consideration, candidate Nguyen Duc Nga has a good academic record, has won many high prizes in excellent student competitions, received many certificates of merit and Nga herself was admitted to the Party in June 2015. Nga's biological father committed a less serious crime (suspended sentence) and the incident happened a long time ago (22 years), at that time Nga's father was not married and had his criminal record cleared.
Candidate Nguyen Duc Nga and his family have complied with all policies and laws of the Party and the State. Nga's paternal grandfather was awarded the Second Class Resistance Medal, and his maternal grandfather is a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Therefore, the General Department of Politics of the Public Security Forces has agreed to take into account Nguyen Duc Nga's political criteria so that Nghe An Provincial Police can handle his admission.
The General Department of Politics of the Public Security also requested Nghe An Provincial Police to guide Nga to declare and supplement her profile fully and honestly in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
Thus, after resolving the admission of candidate Bui Kieu Nhi in Quang Binh, in just 1 day, with the continued attention and direction of Minister Tran Dai Quang, the Ministry of Public Security has specifically considered, resolved quickly, closely and humanely the case of candidate Nguyen Duc Nga, giving them the opportunity to become police officers.
