Ministry of Public Security: Visiting 3 soldiers injured while arresting drug criminals

(Baonghean.vn) - This morning (March 7), a working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Lieutenant General Tran Van Nhuan, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Police Construction, visited and encouraged three soldiers injured while pursuing drug criminals who are being treated at Nghe An General Hospital and the Provincial Police Hospital. Accompanying the delegation was Colonel Ho Sy Tuan, Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police.

Lieutenant General Tran Van Nhuan visited and asked about comrade Mai Chien Thang, Deputy Chief of Vinh City Police.

On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Lieutenant General Tran Van Nhuan kindly inquired about the health and commended the bravery and determination to attack and capture criminals of the three comrades injured in the recent drug crime arrest. On this occasion, Lieutenant General Tran Van Nhuan sent the three comrades a gift from the "Gratitude Fund" of the Ministry of Public Security, wishing them peace of mind during their treatment, a quick recovery so that they can soon return to their units to work and fight, and continue to be steadfast in the fight against extremely dangerous crimes for the peaceful life of the people. He also thanked the doctors of Nghe An General Hospital and the Provincial Police Hospital for their dedication to taking care of the health and treating the soldiers injured while on duty.

Previously, during the implementation of Project 114M, arresting 4 subjects and seizing 6 heroin cakes, a working group was hit by Pham Cong Cuong, who was illegally transporting drugs, using a car to crash into them, injuring comrade Mai Chien Thang, Deputy Chief of Vinh City Police, and 2 soldiers Thai Ba Dung and Du Van Thuc of the Social Order Investigation Police Team of Vinh City Police.
