(Baonghean.vn) - As part of the program of visiting and working in Nghe An province, on January 13, 2014, the delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Lao People's Democratic Republic led by Mr. Boviengkham Vongdara - Minister of Science and Technology visited and learned about the model of applying high technology science and technology of TH Group in Nghia Dan district.

Accompanying and receiving the delegation were Mr. Tran Viet Thanh - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An province.

At the working session with TH Group, the delegation listened to TH Group leaders introduce the Group's formation and development process; the process of raising, producing and processing milk applying advanced science and technology of advanced countries in the world.

Currently, TH Group's total investment in developing the livestock farm system is 350 million USD, and has completed 3 farm clusters with a total herd of over 30,000 cows with a closed process.

Each farm cluster includes a feed processing center, an automatic milking center for 3 cow farms, a clean water treatment center for cows to drink, and a wastewater treatment center. High technology is applied by TH Group from the beginning to the end in the production process of planting, harvesting grass, processing feed, and processing milk. In animal husbandry, the herd is managed by electronic chips to monitor and analyze each cow. Each day produces 3,000 tons of milk.

The delegation then visited the grassland, saw the technology of land preparation, harvesting, irrigation, food processing center, clean water factory, wastewater treatment center, automatic milking technology. The dairy factory has a capacity of 200,000 tons/year. With milk processing technology applying an automated system. Currently, the factory produces a variety of dairy products such as: sterilized fresh milk, drinking yogurt, eating yogurt...

In addition, the group also applies science and technology in the production of vegetables, fruits and medicinal herbs. All agricultural products of TH Group use advanced scientific processes and the products are all derived from nature.

During the visit and working session with TH Group, the delegation from the Lao Ministry of Science and Technology raised many questions related to the application of high-tech advances in the livestock and milk processing process. Through that, the neighboring country can apply this process in livestock and milk processing in some localities of Laos.

Next, the delegation had a meeting with the People's Committee of Nghe An province chaired by Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien reported on some of the results that Nghe An province achieved in 2013. At the same time, he introduced in depth some of Nghe An's potential high-tech achievements. Accordingly, Nghe An province has now applied high-tech science in dairy farming and production of some agricultural products, medicinal herbs and milk processing. Nghe An is building a direction for high-tech agricultural development.

In addition, the province also focuses on growing a number of concentrated raw material trees such as tea, wood, rubber, coffee, etc. Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien hopes that Nghe An and Laos will continue to have more cooperation in the field of science and technology, hoping that the Lao Ministry of Science and Technology will create all favorable conditions for the provinces of Laos and Nghe An to have close cooperation in the field of science and technology, in which special attention is paid to the issue of developing high-tech science.
