Appointment of 3 Deputy Heads of the Central Economic Commission
On the afternoon of March 23, in Hanoi, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission To Huy Rua presented the decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the transfer to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.

According to the Politburo's Decision, Mr. Truong Quang Nghia, member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee, was transferred and assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.
The two concurrent Deputy Heads of the Central Economic Commission appointed by the Secretariat this time include: Mr. Tran Van Hieu, Deputy Minister of Finance (replacing Mr. Nguyen Cong Nghiep, retired concurrent Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission) and Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade (replacing Mr. Le Duong Quang, retired concurrent Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission).
Head of the Central Organizing Committee To Huy Rua hopes that in their new positions, the Deputy Heads of the Central Economic Committee will continue to promote their capacity, intelligence, innovation, and successfully complete assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party and people.
Mr. Truong Quang Nghia has held the following positions: General Director of Vinaconex, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, Secretary of the Central Enterprises Party Committee, and Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee.
Two Deputy Heads of the Central Economic Commission concurrently hold the following positions: Mr. Tran Van Hieu, with a PhD, is Deputy Minister of Finance directly in charge of state management of corporate finance and price management, and concurrently holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Members of the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC).
Mr. Tran Tuan Anh is currently Party Secretary, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, directly in charge of export, import and trade services; bilateral relations, market development and issues related to handling trade disputes and anti-dumping and anti-subsidy abroad for Vietnamese goods in the Americas.
