New appointment for former Secretary of the Minister of Industry and Trade
The Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to make decisions on leadership transfers and appointments. Most recently, former Secretary of the Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh was appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Americas Market.
Specifically, on September 26, 2016, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc Khanh presented Decision No. 3816/QD-BCT dated September 21, 2016 on the transfer of Mr. Hoang Minh Chien - former Deputy Chief of the Ministry's Office to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Americas Market - Ministry of Industry and Trade; Decision No. 3818/QD-BCT dated September 21, 2016 on the transfer of Mr. Nguyen Truong Son - former Deputy Chief of the Ministry's Office to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Emulation and Reward - Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc Khanh commented that these are two officials who have similarities in being enthusiastic, dedicated, well-trained, and having been involved in the development of the Industry and Trade sector for many years.
Mr. Nguyen Truong Son is appreciated for his 26 years of dedication to the Ministry's Office, especially in managing press and media work as well as the duties of Deputy Chief of the Ministry's Office.
Mr. Hoang Minh Chien is considered a young, enthusiastic officer, whose capacity has been affirmed through his time of dedication at the Multilateral Trade Policy Department, Ministry Office, especially his excellent performance as secretary to Minister Tran Tuan Anh when the Minister held the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc Khanh said that transferring Mr. Hoang Minh Chien to the Americas Market Department is both a recognition from the Ministry's leaders and a big challenge for Mr. Hoang Minh Chien personally, because this is a large market with a lot of potential, which needs to be focused on to exploit, specifically in the coming time, it is necessary to pay attention to the markets of Central America, South America, the Caribbean, etc.
